Drive through the main streets of Tel Aviv to the ancient port of Jaffa. Travel north to visit the Roman ruins at Caesarea. Visit the Bahai Gardens, where the Shrine of the Bahai faith is located, in Haifa. Next, travel to Akko to walk through the tunnels of this Crusader city. Dinner at your Kibbutz (B, D): GALILEE
Sat, Day 4, 5
This morning begin at the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Drive to the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes at Tabgha, then visit Capernaum. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. This afternoon, visit the Baptismal Site at the Jordan River. Dinner at your Kibbutz (B, D): GALILEE
Sun, Day 5, 6
Drive through Cana of Galilee to Nazareth, to visit the Church of the Annunciation and the house of Joseph and Mary. Proceed to Megiddo to visit the archaeological site. Continue to Beit She'an and visit the Roman theater. Continue south to Jerusalem (B): JERUSALEM
Mon, Day 6, 7
Enter the Old City and walk through the Jewish Quarter and the Cardo, then to the Western Wall. Visit the Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and see Rachel's Tomb. Later, stop at the Garden of Gethsemane at the Mount of Olives (B): JERUSALEM
Tues, Day 7, 8
Full day at leisure in Jerusalem. Your tour director will offer you an optional full-day tour of Jerusalem, including Mt. Zion, with its famous upper room where the Last Supper took place. Visit King David's Tomb. Continue to the monument to the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust -- Yad Vashem -- then to the Second Temple miniature model of Jerusalem as it was described in the Bible. This afternoon visit the Shrine of the Book at the famous Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, then continue to the Garden Tomb and Calvary Hill (B): JERUSALEM
Wed, Day 8, 9
Follow the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada and ascend by cable car to its fortress. Float in the Dead Sea. Drive via Ein Gedi and visit the Qumran Caves. Return to Jerusalem for a farewell dinner (B, D): JERUSALEM
