Explore the Christian Quarter. Walk through the narrow streets. Afternoon at leisure (B, D): JERUSALEM Sun, Day 4 Follow the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada and ascend by cable car to its fortress. Float in the Dead Sea. Drive via Ein Gedi and view the Qumran Caves (B, L, D): JERUSALEM Mon, Day 5 Drive to Mt. Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Enter the Old City and walk through the Jewish Quarter and the Cardo. Visit the Western Wall. Visit the Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount. Drive to Bethlehem. See Rachel's Tomb (B, D): JERUSALEM Tues, Day 6 See the famous stained-glass windows in Hadassah Hospital's synagogue. Continue to Yad Vashem, then to Mt. Herzl and Israel's Military Cemetery. See the model of Jerusalem as it looked during the Second Temple period via the Knesset and the President's house. Visit the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum (B, D): JERUSALEM Wed, Day 7 Travel along the Jordan Valley to Beit She'an to see the recent excavation of the Roman theater. See Beit Alpha. Descend to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. Drive along the shore of Lake Kinneret to Capernaum into the Galilee (B, L, D): GALILEE Thurs, Day 8 Ascend the Golan Heights. Cross the Jordan River and climb to Safed. Drive to the ancient city of Akko. Enter the Crusader underground city and walk through its tunnels (B, D): HAIFA Fri, Day 9 Tour Haifa, Mt. Carmel, and the Bahai Shrine. Continue to Beit She'arim. Then visit Caesarea and the aqueduct. Continue via Netanya to Tel Aviv (B, D): TEL AVIV Sat, Day 10 Day at leisure (B, D): TEL AVIV Sun, Day 11 Drive via Dizengoff Street to Yitzhak Rabin Square.
