Sun, Day 1 (SUNDAY ARRIVAL)

Mon, Day 2 (SUNDAY ARRIVAL)

Morning sightseeing of MODERN TEL AVIV and OLD HAIFA, driving via Dizengoff Circle, the Habimah National Theatre and Mann Auditorium to the ancient port city of JAFFA, now an Artists' Quarter. Continue along the coastal road to CAESAREA, to view the archaeological ruins of this ancient Herodian Port City, Important Byzantine centre and Crusader stronghold. Coninue to Haifa: HAIFA

Mon, Day 1 (MONDAY ARRIVAL)

Arrive and be met by tour representative, transfer to hotel: HAIFA

Tuesday, Day 3 | Day 2

Begin the day with a tour of HAIFA visiting the Bahai Temple situated in the beautiful Persian Gardens and then to Mt. Carmel for a panoramic view of Haifa and the north. Drive north to ZIPPORI, remains of an early settlement, mainly from the Roman and Byzantine periods and then on to SAFED, the ancient centre of Jewish mysticism and now an Artists' Quarter. After a Kibbutz, drive through the GLAN HEIGHTS to Tiberias: TIBERIAS

Wednesday, Day 4 | Day 3

Start the day with a boat ride on the SEA OF GALILEE before visiting CAPERNAUM to view the ruins of an ancient synagogue. Continue to NAZARETH with its Christian sanctuaries and visit the Church of the Annunciation. Drive to BEIT SHEAN, the most monumental Roman/Byzantine city in the area and then proceed to Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley and JERICHO, the lowest and oldest inhabited city on earth: JERUSALEM

Thursday, Day 5 | Day 6

Tour the OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM beginnning at the Mt. of Olives for a breathtaking view of the entire city spread below. Enter the Old City through the Jewish Quarter to view the Byzantine Cardo and the Herodian Mansions. Visit the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Drive to BETHLEHEM to visit the Church of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem via the Haas Promenade for a view of the City of David from its southern side. Continue to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, housing the Dead Sea Scrolls. Friday, Day 6 | Day 7

Sightseeing tour of the NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM, beginning at the Hadassah Medical Center to view the famous Chagall Windows depicting the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Continue to the Jewish National Fund Forest in the Jerusalem Hills to enjoy the experience of planting a tree with your own hands. Continue to Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust and then on to the Herzl Cemetery to view the grave of the late Yitzhak Rabin. Drive to the Holyland Hotel to view view the Model of Jerusalem from the time of the second Temple. Return to your hotel driving via the Knesset (Israel's Parliament), the President's House and the Jerusalem Theatre: JERUSALEM

Saturday, Day 7 | Day 8

Descend through the Judean Hills to QUMRAN, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Drive along the shores of the DEAD SEA, the lowest spot on earth, to visit MASADA. Tour the famed archaeological site including King Herod's Palace. Drive by the EIN GEDI OASIS and enjoy the opportunity of swimming in the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem: JERUSALEM

Sunday, Day 8 (SUNDAY ARRIVAL)

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.

Sunday, Day 7 (MONDAY ARRIVAL)

Depart Jerusalem for CAESAREA to view the archaeological ruins of this ancient Herodian port city, important Byzantine centre and Crusader stronghold. Continue to MODERN TEL AVIV and OLD JAFFA, driving via Dizengoff Circle, the Habima National Theatre and Mann Auditorium to the ancient port city of Jaffa, now an Artists' Quarter: TEL AVIV

Monday, Day 8 (MONDAY ARRIVAL)

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.
